Video: So you want to be a hotelier? Funny Movie about the Hotel Industry

We often read about the stars and celebrities who live in Beverly Hills just under that “Hollywood” sign. Without actually admitting it there are many of you reading this who believes they live “the Perfect Life” filled with all the glamour, glitz, bright lights and happy endings! So too do many consider the hospitality industry as the most glamorous and fashionable industry to work in! A true statement to make I feel for many reasons but hand in hand with those bright lights of a hospitality career goes one key ingredient for success… Hard Work!

Undoubtedly a fun and adventurous industry which is often compared to the Theatre… After all it is all about putting on the show! Backstage activities I am sure are similar to many of the Back of House antics that occur unknown to our guest who is enjoying the perfect stay! Actors, actresses, managers and line staff alike have all received similar training on delivering that memorable and flawless experience with a smile!

One thing is for sure. There are many stars in the hospitality industry! It takes a special type of talented individual to withstand the many exciting and challenging situations and roles that arise during their stage debut!  

This video was made by hoteliers, for hoteliers simply because of the love they have for hotels! This is presented for purposes of humour as is a theatrical performance on Broadway! All that you see before you has been scripted and none of these incidences are true life experiences. I am sure however that you can recollect some similar close encounters during your own auditions!
