Celebrity Guests! Flashing cameras! Alert Hotel Security, the paparazzi are blocking the main hotel lobby entrance!? In the hospitality industry many of us have crossed paths with the stars that we often read about in glossy magazines. While we don’t like to admit it openly we love to tell others about it! These celebrity encounters tend to go one of two ways; a thrilling and exhilarating experience where the entire team is on a constant high, stalking the back of house corridors in the hope of accidently bumping into this world renowned celebrity!
On the other hand the dogged planning and annoying habits of the management prior to and during this celebrities stay actually brought you to the point of writing your letter of resignation (saved but not sent!) At one point you found yourself almost feeling sorry for the celebrity as you watched their every move being monitored like a laboratory pet and you Thanked God you were just an average Joe!!
