Some encouraging feedback we have received from the industry:
I was lucky enough to find the Young Hoteliers site when I was on google and I was very impressed to find that there is actually a site where you can go which is for Hoteliers. I have listened to a number of the interviews on you tube and I believe the Hotel business is all about learning and a large part of that learning will come from listening to colleagues in the business and their experiences. Young Hotelier would also be a good site for people to research who are contemplating taking a career in the Hotel industry as it runs through how people reached where they are today and the different career paths which they have taken and it also shows the opportunities which people have to travel around the world within the Hotel industry as there are no barriers when it comes to Hotels. I believe as this site grows it will take on a life of its own and has the potential of becoming a worldwide forum for Hoteliers and I would like to congratulate Erin and JJ for starting Young Hotelier it is truly innovative and deserves all the success it has achieved to date. – Sean Lally, Managing Partner, Clarion Hotel Limerick and President Chamber of Commerce
“Young Hotelier does what no other organisation does, it makes the business of working in the hospitality industry very real. It reaches out to young adults across the globe and sells the idea of working in hotels as a very fulfilling and rewarding career” – Elaine Nettleton, Director of Communications-Middle East, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Management FZ-LLC
“There are two kinds of people in the world… people that would love to work in hotels and people that just won’t. There’s no middle-way. Younghotelier.com does a great job at showing interested individuals what it’s like to work in the hotel industry in a very fun and authentic way. It’s also a great place for hoteliers to learn, connect and grow. It’s no surprise that this initiative was founded in the dynamic Middle East, as the need for passionate people in the hotel industry is growing by the minute.” – Andreas Plum, Online Distribution & Field Marketing Manager, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Middle East
“The Young Hoteliers and Hot Hoteliers networking group has brought a new and vibrant opportunity to the hotel industry, from energetic, daring go-getters, to the more established hospitality professionals, allowing us to see the human side of the industry and obtain a glimpse of the people behind the beautiful and glamorous hotels that Dubai is renowned for.“The hospitality industry the world over is all about networking and building relationships and Hot Hoteliers brings that opportunity to the doorstep of industry professionals in the UAE.” – Mr Marc Dardenne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group.
I am a big fan of Younghotelier.com Young hoteliers is a great initiative and JJ and Erin have done a wonderful job making and investing there time to launch and run the Young Hotelier initiative. It gives hoteliers in the UAE and around the world with the videos exposure on You Tube the opportunity to share their insights and best practices as well as their own personal experiences that we are all able to learn from one another. In addition it gives newcomers or college/graduates a fantastic insight into the career they are about to be part. I wish continued success to this great team… – Francisco Giles, General Manager, Renaissance Dubai
Hot Hoteliers and YoungHotelier.com share the goal to improve the hospitality industry. We learn from our colleagues every day, we often share the same concerns and sometimes we find the solutions by just discussing them with our colleagues/friends. From a professional point of view Hothoteliers and YoungHotelier.com are powerful forums, and from a social point of view definitely brilliant. – Ko van den hil, Hotel manager, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina
